BottleDrop Iowa bags are often processed and credited to your account within a few days, but may take longer during our busy season. Please allow up to 10 business days for your bags to process. If multiple bags are dropped off at the same time, they may be counted on different days. If after 10 days you have questions about the status of your bag, you can reach out to BottleDrop Iowa’s customer service team.

Crushed or flattened containers will not go through our machines and may not be put in your BottleDrop Iowa bag or Can Shed’s bulk bags. We can recycle crushed cans for you, but they have no redemption value.

If you have received an email stating your account has been credited with your first bag(s), but don’t see a balance reflected when checking your account online, you may have accidently created two accounts within our system.

To verify this is the case, you may call our customer service line at 319-366-1300 and select the BottleDrop Iowa option from the main menu. Please have your account number, full name, and address on the account ready. We may ask for additional verification if the two accounts are not an exact match as we merge the accounts.
